Pattern Occurring - Colour Me Happy

Seattle has been drenched in sun the past month. I don't feel guilty about mention it as firstly, we get rain and grey nine months out of the year, and secondly I hear from my dear friends on Radio 1 that the UK is experiencing a heat wave.  Get those lilly white legs out ladies and gents! Crank up some great summer tunes (Rudimental & Macklemore) and lets get your pattern occurring!

I am adoring Melon Blush & Navy combos. Feels so sun bleached and yummy! Nautical too????

Dirty Desk Top

My faithful MacBook Pro is slowly failing on me which is sad.  In a attempt to extend it's life I have been cleaning up my files and stashing my files on an external hard drive.  In doing so I came across some funny prints and patterns.  It would be selfish to not share. Please don't ask where I found these, they have just been littered all over my desk top for weeks now. Shameful, the thoughts of a mad woman!  This is a peek into my world and obsessions.

HeartsnKisses

Last Sunday I went for a yummy roast dinner with my old school friends at a country pub in Yardley Hastings, Northamptonshire. As much as i love Yorkshire Puddings, the real reason i chose that location was because i wanted to visit a local 'Vintage Fete'. it proved to be a lot of fun, with one booth in particular catching my eye, 'Heartsnkisses'. I chatted with the owner and creator, a lovely woman called Suzanne.  She spent time collecting and sourcing great vintage fabrics, mainly embroidered table clothes that she would repurpose for her own products. As daunting and as challenging as it is to cut into a great vintage fabric, i loved how it spread the love of that print to more people, by using the same print across multiple products.
