Golly gosh the summer has been a crazy whirl wind and now that the sun has departed from Seattle I'm Back. As many of you know i have been working with several clients across the US on trend, color and textile design, working to produce inspiring product for them has been and will remain my main passion. Blogging for me, has been a way to give back and stay connected, which i've missed these past weeks. As time has permitted i've tried to keep up my instagram and it has been wonderful connecting with some of you there. If you aren't following my feed you are missing out on some visual yummies!
During my break, i have also been doing some personal development which is key to staying relevant and growing as an individual. I have attended 2 workshops one on Calligraphy and another on Pantone Color. I also got to work with a dream client Anthropologie Home on color for spring 15 and design for spring summer and fall. The team there were fantastic and gave me the courage i need to take the next step in developing my own line of products. This has always been my goal and i hope and pray for guidance in this area as i can design but production, inventory and mills are another matter. Please please contact me if you are interested or could offer some friendly advice.
Lastly, in September i travelled home to England for a dear friend's wedding and got to visit with my close friends. That is hard right? Loving people all over the world. I was a truly inspiring time and of course i spent hours drooling over precious things in Liberty and ate too many pork products. So sad to leave but glad to be back at home with the blog. I've missed you all. Please don't be a stranger and continue to use your gifts.
